This service is for palm rolled locs that have gone extended periods without maintenance, resulting in excessive new growth, matting, or locs combining at the root. This is NOT a standard retwist and requires additional time and corrective work to restore your foundation. Includes deep cleansing shampoo, sectioning, separation of matted roots, palm roll maintenance, and scalp care. $35/hr after scheduled session has expired ⚠️ Multiple sessions may be required depending on condition. Repairs: $10 per loc (if needed) Maintenance is recommended every 4–6 weeks to avoid additional fees.

LOC TAKEDOWN (LOC REMOVAL)

Early morning booking requirement A loc takedown (also known as a loc removal or comb-out) is the process of carefully unraveling and removing locs using water, conditioner, and professional tools. This is a tedious, labor-intensive service that varies greatly by individual. Hair shedding and hair loss are expected, especially the longer locs have been installed, as shed hair has been trapped within the locs over time. Results, time, and hair retention are not guaranteed, as locs are considered a permanent hairstyle even though they can be removed through a detailed process. Pricing & Time Policy: • Flat rate of $200 covers the first four (4) hours • Each additional hour is $40 • Time begins at the start of the service and includes unraveling, detangling, and sectioning • Total service time cannot be estimated or guaranteed in advance Some services may require more than one session. Payment for time rendered is due in full at each appointment.

Please ensure hair is properly detangled before your appointment to avoid additional charges.

Extended Service Fee Policy

An Extended Service Fee is applied when a service exceeds the originally scheduled time window due to delays, additional requests, or circumstances outside of the stylist or technician’s control. Details: • Each appointment or booking includes a designated service window based on the selected service(s). • If the service extends beyond the allotted time (for example, due to late arrival(15min grace period), additional styling, excessive detangling, interruptions, overly tender heads (sensitivity to styling, or extra customization) • The fee compensates for items listed Rates: • The Extended Service Fee is billed at $30 per additional hour beyond the service window. • This fee will be added to the final balance and must be paid before the service is completed or before the technician departs (for mobile or event services).

Starter Loc Options Starting your loc journey begins with choosing the right method for your hair type, lifestyle, and long-term goals. A consultation is recommended to determine the best option. Comb Coil Locs A traditional method ideal for tightly coiled textures. Hair is sectioned and coiled at the root, allowing the hair to naturally lock over time. This method creates uniform locs but may require more frequent maintenance in the early stages due to possible unraveling. Two-Strand Twist Locs Great for medium to thick hair densities and clients who want a fuller look early on. Hair is twisted into two sections and will gradually loc as the twist pattern softens. This process helps reduce shrinkage, bulk, and uneven or chunky ends, while supporting the natural locking process. It is especially beneficial for clients experiencing loose ends, excess body, sliding, or delayed locking at the tips.
