Loc Install (Traditional/Interlocks

Starter Loc Options Starting your loc journey begins with choosing the right method for your hair type, lifestyle, and long-term goals. A consultation is recommended to determine the best option. Comb Coil Locs A traditional method ideal for tightly coiled textures. Hair is sectioned and coiled at the root, allowing the hair to naturally lock over time. This method creates uniform locs but may require more frequent maintenance in the early stages due to possible unraveling. Two-Strand Twist Locs Great for medium to thick hair densities and clients who want a fuller look early on. Hair is twisted into two sections and will gradually loc as the twist pattern softens. Offers some versatility during the starter phase. Interlocking Locs Roots are secured using an interlocking tool, creating a firm base that resists unraveling. Additional Weeks/ Time/ Repair

This service is based on a 6-week maintenance schedule with a 6-hour appointment time. If you are over 6 weeks, you must select the appropriate “additional weeks” add-on at the time of booking to ensure enough time is reserved for your service. If more time is needed the hourly rate of $40 will be added . Please note: * If additional weeks are not selected at booking, they will be added at your appointment and charged accordingly, based on the time needed—only if time permits. * If there is not enough time to complete your service, you will need to schedule an additional appointment for a later date. * An hourly fee of $40 will be applied for every hour exceeding your allotted appointment time if the required additional weeks were not added during booking.

Extended Maintenance (Palm Rolled L

This service is for palm rolled locs that have gone extended periods without maintenance, resulting in excessive new growth, matting, or locs combining at the root. This is NOT a standard retwist and requires additional time and corrective work to restore your foundation. Includes deep cleansing shampoo, sectioning, separation of matted roots, palm roll maintenance, and scalp care. $35/hr after scheduled session has expired ⚠️ Multiple sessions may be required depending on condition. LOC TAKEDOWN (LOC REMOVAL)

Early morning booking requirement A loc takedown (also known as a loc removal or comb-out) is the process of carefully unraveling and removing locs using water, conditioner, and professional tools. This is a tedious, labor-intensive service that varies greatly by individual. Hair shedding and hair loss are expected, especially the longer locs have been installed, as shed hair has been trapped within the locs over time. Results, time, and hair retention are not guaranteed, as locs are considered a permanent hairstyle even though they can be removed through a detailed process. Pricing & Time Policy: • Flat rate of $300 covers the first four (4) hours • Each additional hour is $50 • Time begins at the start of the service and includes unraveling, detangling, and sectioning • Total service time cannot be estimated or guaranteed in advance Some services may require more than one session. Payment for time rendered is due in full at each appointment.

Detangle Fee

Detangling / Matted Hair Fee An additional $35 fee will be applied to hair that is matted, excessively tangled, or requires extended detangling prior to service. This fee covers the additional time, care, and product required to safely prepare the hair before the scheduled service can begin. Please ensure hair is properly detangled before your appointment to avoid additional charges.

Tender Head (Ad-On)

As a tender-head specialist, I pre-plan extra time for sensitive clients. However, if the process requires significantly more time than planned, an additional $30/hr may be added at the end of the service. If services go into another clients time your service will be discontinued and full payment is due. Some parents choose this option knowing their child will need it and at other time I will add if we are working overt your appointment time limit.

Extended Service Fee Policy

An Extended Service Fee is applied when a service exceeds the originally scheduled time window due to delays, additional requests, or circumstances outside of the stylist or technician’s control. Details: • Each appointment or booking includes a designated service window based on the selected service(s). • If the service extends beyond the allotted time (for example, due to late arrival(15min grace period), additional styling, excessive detangling, interruptions, overly tender heads (sensitivity to styling, or extra customization) • The fee compensates for items listed Rates: • The Extended Service Fee is billed at $35 per additional 45 mins beyond the service window. • This fee will be added to the final balance and must be paid before the service is completed or before the technician departs (for mobile or event services).
